New/Mode’s Calling Tool is all about breaking barriers to taking action. Once you've got this tool set up, your supporters can call and engage decision-makers with the click of a button!
Our new subscribers will be on our 1-page Calling Tool template. If you are still on our 2-page template, and want to switch to a 1-page template, follow these steps.
Why use a 1-page Calling Tool? The new design is optimized for conversions! Subscribers only need to click one button after entering all their information, and right away they'll see your social share buttons, so they can help make your campaign go viral!
To create a new Calling Tool:
Step 1: Follow the steps to create a campaign.
Step 2: Set up your campaign tool's Basic Configuration.
Step 3: Fill in your Calling Tool with great Custom Content. This is the content that will get supporters to take action and make the call to targeted decision-makers. You will also be entering content that will guide your supporters through the call.
Step 4: Preview your Calling Tool. You'll see that your Calling Tool automatically sets up a list of representatives to call based on the targeting types you’ve configured and on your supporter's address information. You see these targets on Page 1 of the tool:
Here's where the difference between a 1-page and a 2-page tools comes up.
In a 1-page tool:
When you hit the Submit button on the first page, you'll be taken directly to the thank you page. As such, you should add any talking points for your supporters in the Thank You Page Message field in the Content tab. This is also where you'll see your social sharing buttons once you've set them up in the Social tab:
In a 2-page tool:
When you enter custom content for guiding your supporter through their call actions, you'll also see a preview of Page 2 of your calling tool, which includes talking points for your supporters to follow, and a feedback form where they can leave information about their experience:
Your supporters will only be taken to the thank you page once they hit the Submit button.
Step 5: Test your action thoroughly.
Step 6: Embed your Calling Tool.
