The advanced configurations for our Click-to-Call gives you a few options to help enhance your campaigns.
Below are a list of advanced configurations and how they can help you enhance the call tool.
If you want supporters only to call a specific target (for example a city councillor), you can add filter for that office. You just have to confirm the exact office title that’s coming up on the form, as some municipalities will say Alderman, others Councillor, others City Councillor.
Allow Multiple Selections / Daisy-chain Phone Targets
The Daisy-Chaining configuration allows users to get connected to multiple targets with just one phone call. For example, if you decide to target multiple elected officials with the call tool, users will be connected to each subsequent official one after the other. Your supporters will be passed on to one after another by pressing *.
Our Click-to-Call tool automatically daisy-chains your calls if your Click to Call campaign targets multiple elected officials (or custom targets).
For instance, If you want users to call their city councillor and the mayor, you can “Allow Multiple Selections.” The call will go through to the first target, and then the user can press * to call the next target after the first call is complete.
You can disable this configuration by unchecking the All Multiple Selections option. (see image)
Enabling this option will automatically randomize the order in which targets are presented to the supporter.
If you have the "Allow Multiple Selections/Daisy-Chain" option selected and you want calls to go through to both a Mayor and a City Councillor, but for the Mayor to not be called first all the time, select “Randomize”.
Enabling this configuration will automatically select the matching elected official(s). If "Allow Multiple Selections" is enabled, all elected officials will be selected. If "Allow Mutiple Selections" is disabled, the first matching elected official will be auto-selected.
