Here's how to get Salesforce connected to your New/Mode campaign. This connection will allow the information in your campaign tool data fields to be mapped onto your CRM data fields.
You'll start the process over in your Salesforce account, where you need to retrieve your Salesforce qualified URL:
As you probably know, there are two versions of the Salesforce user interface. You may have to go into your account preferences to find your qualified URL if these steps don't work for you.
Step 1: In your Salesforce account, click on the View Profile icon at the top right side of browser.
Step 2: Copy your Salesforce qualified URL. This can be found under your name. Make sure that your URL includes a trailing slash, so that it looks something like this: na50.salesforce.com/
Step 3: Now you can head back over to your Organization dashboard at New/Mode, and follow the steps to Create a Service.
Step 4: Once you've selected Salesforce as your CRM Service, you'll be asked to enter your Host. Enter the URL you just copied from your Salesforce account, and add https:// at the beginning of the address because it won't be included in the address you copy over from Salesforce:
Step 5: Click Save, and follow the prompts at the top of the screen to establish or test your connection to Salesforce:
You can always come back to this page in the future if you need to reconfigure your Service Setup.
Step 6: To connect Salesforce to a specific campaign tool, navigate to the Basic Configuration page for that tool, and scroll down the page to Services. Make sure that Salesforce is selected under CRM Service:
You can now map the form components from your selected campaign tool (such as First Name, Last Name, etc.) to your Salesforce CRM for Leads or Contacts.
