Step 1: From your New/Mode Community Engagement welcome scree Click “Create a Service”
Step 2: Select “CRM” as the “Service Type”, which will reveal the “Service Provider” field.
Step 3: Select “Salesforce” as “Service Provider”, which will reveal the “Salesforce Settings” field.
Step 4: Copy and paste your fully qualified URL of your Salesforce instance including a trailing slash.
Note: Follow these steps to retrieve your Salesforce qualified URL. Also note that there are two versions of Salesforce User Interface. You may have to go into your account preferences to find your qualified URL if the below steps don't work for you.
- Log into your Salesforce account.
- Click on the View Profile icon [this can be found on the top right side of browser]
- Copy your Salesforce qualified URL into the host salesforce setting in New/Mode [this can be found under your name: the URL looks similar to the following - na50.salesforce.com]
Important: You must include a trailing slash "/" at the end of your Salesforce URL.
Step 5: After copying your Salesforce qualified URL into New/Mode Host service settings click Save.
Step 6: After saving, you can follow on screen directions to establish or test your connection to Salesforce.
You can now map your Webform Components (such as First Name, Last Names, e.t.c.) to your Salesforce CRM for LEADS or CONTACTS. Follow the steps below to review your Salesforce CRM Integration Sync Settings.
Step 7 (Optional): You can see your detailed mappings under the Edit/ Advanced/ CRM Integrations tab. Please note our tools by default send values for first name, last name and email address.
Step 8 (Optional): Mapping your Salesforce Fields
Select which Webform Component (e.g. First Name) you would like to map to your specific Salesforce Field Name and click Edit.
Important: Depending on how you use Salesforce, you may want to map to LEADS or CONTACTS
Scroll down to the "Send To" Salesforce section. Select where you'd like to map the selected Webform Component from the dropdown menu.
Repeat the above instructions for all other Webform Components you'd like to map.
